Spring traditionally evokes a sense of freshness and new beginnings, with sprouting shoots and blossoming flowers that inspire designers to add color and textures to their clothes and shoes. The styles are bolder, and incorporate many interesting elements. Both flats and heels are in style, and depending on the shoe, wedges, pumps or sling-back heels offer variety.

This spring, it will all be about making a statement. Try to incorporate fashionable colors in addition to new styles. Vibrant colors, such as lavender, rose, lemon, gray, and green, will add sparkle to your outfit. More neutral tones, such as beige, white, and blue colors, are also great when you want to color-coordinate your clothes.

Of course, you want to match your shoe style with the rest of your clothes. You might want to match color of your shoes to your blouse, pants, or skirt. On the other hand, you might want to add texture and variety to your clothes by wearing a pair of shoes that stands out from the clothing. You will find plenty of styles to choose from this spring.

There are several styles of shoes that will be popular this spring. Sandals with and without heels are on top of the list. Some have fringing or embossing. Wedge sandals, such leather wedge shoes with stones, or leather open toe wedge sandals, have interesting designs. If you are in the mood for fancy shoes, you might want to try birdcage slip-on sandals or neon sandals, which have very bright red, green, and yellow colors.

Another exotic style of shoes incorporates snake-inspired motifs. You might come across faux-snakeskin pumps, python-print leather heels, or embroidered python sandals this spring. Gold shoes are also in style, for example, faux-leather banded ankle strap gold flats or peep-toe leather gold booties.

If you prefer flats to heels, you might want to try wearing canvas printed flats with embroidery, or, for a more relaxed look, suede flats in dip-dye. Continuing with the snake-inspired theme, there are snakeskin flats. For a sporty look, try wearing colorful canvas or linen sneakers.

Classic look never goes out of style. If you usually wear heels to work or school, there are plenty of shoes to choose from. Leather open-toe sling-back heels, peep-toe sling-back heels, or platform heels look great, as well as leather platform and faux leather pumps. This spring, you will be pleasantly surprised by the variety of shoe styles as the stores.
