Is "No Hassle" Really No Hassle?
Credit cards often create advertising that will make their credit card programs look very inviting to consumers. There are as many programs to choose from, as there are card offers! If you are actively seeking a credit card to apply for you may wonder how realistic some of these programs are. You can choose from airline points, travel awards, merchandise rewards, charitable contributions and cash back rewards. However, when doing your research you need to be sure you read all the fine print and disclosures. You may find that the "perfect program" actually has qualification rules, redemption rules and collection rules that make those great offers much less appealing.
However, there are a few companies out there making it easier on consumers. One such credit card company is Capital One. Companies like Capital One create a lot of business by branding. Branding is a term used by marketing companies that meant they get their name out there in front of you in a variety of ways so that it is widely recognizable. (Also known as name recognition) The thing is, that they do not necessarily have to live up to any expectations, it is all marketing. Well, Capital One makes it a priority to living up to the expectations of their card-holders.
Sometimes it helps to know more about the company itself than to dwell on the expectations. "Capital One Bank (USA), N.A., Capital One, N.A., and Capital One Auto Finance Inc. Since then, Capital One has emerged as one of America's largest consumer franchises with almost 50 million customer accounts and one of the nation's most recognized brands."
