When seeking employment: (on Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy Of Needs)
There are many things in our lives that we look upon and hope to reminisce in pure joy. For example, most women do not crave the pain and suffering felt during labor. But, in general, parents are extremely happy with the birth. Meaning that as people, we take pride and joy in shaping our history. It is well understood we are not completely in control of our history or destiny. But, remarkably, we accept that we are capable of influencing certain outcomes. Amidst the chaos and disorderliness of life and economics we can overcome tremendous amounts of pain and find real happiness. Therefore, destroying the fatalism of the burdens of nature to nurture and build a core in accordance to certain rules and operational systems.
In the same manner, we undertake to develop our educational and psychological background to strengthen our chances to find employment. Our objective is to shape our professional path to make our workmanship strategically promising. The goal of employment should ascertain that our development is satisfying for the professional and personal enhancement of our objectives. I just came back from a contract position in Paris whereby I made certain tuff choices to sustain such a strenuous work analysis under variable conditions.
After graduating from college, we could fiercely promote the origins of our work ethics and ideals. Filled with various expectations, we embarked on the journey of job seeking. Gathering information on the job market in order to promote our profile to a company who will see the benefits of our experience and knowledge.
Unfortunately, the market is unstable and many of us had to face unemployment cycles. The level of our responsibilities grew in volume and changed. Therefore, ideals were simply left aside. While serving the bottom line and obtaining a job position in order to pay the bills. Cost management versus risk management drove our aspirations, desires and passions to the cemetery. In the end we left aside our highest goals. It is no longer uncommon to encounter many people in the job market whom are extremely dissatisfied. They are mere machines, feeble-minded proletariats who go about their daily routines by remaining uninspired. At times the ordinariness of what they are doing is difficult to accept. They become depressed, frustrated, impolite, impatient and complete drifters from a true sense of realism.
