There are many good reasons to continue writing on your blog. The best reason is to achieve success, and you cannot expect to have instant success with a blog. It is a long term project. Regular posting of fresh content is essential for any blog to be successful.
You may have read that the average blog earns between $5,000 and $6,000 per year, but you should be aware that this average comes from the one percent of blogs that make more than $200,000, balanced against the modest earnings generated by most blogs.
In addition to earning advertising revenue, a blog can be used to promote business links, affiliate links, or to encourage people to join a website. It must be kept up to date, and the writing should be entertaining or informative.

You can post on your blog daily, every other day, twice a week, or even less, and still keep it active. The top bloggers, the ones who earn big money from blogging, post several times a day, every day.
The more fun you have blogging, and the more active you are, the more money your blog is likely to earn for you. Blogging is a commitment, an ongoing process, an endless journey of discovery.
The best reason to keep writing on your blog is for you to enjoy the benefits of your success.
