How to write your own Valentine's Day card

A genuine Valentine can be delivered in many ways. This holiday is all about showing your affection. Being creative is endless with possibilities. Pay attention to what your loved one likes and build off of that platform.

Creating a card can be done easy with the computer or you can simply create your own from scratch. Use dried flowers, photographs, or art by your own hand. You could even design one made up of kiss imprints of your favorite lipstick. Be sure to add a note inside even if it is a simple "I Love You."

If you want to create an evening Valentine try leaving a trail of rose petals all the way to the bedroom with one red rose lying on the bed. If you want to present a dinner Valentine decorate the table with colors of red and white. Add your favorite love song for the background and a few candy hearts words that say how you feel.

To say you are thinking of them try adding a note to their lunch box, or leave one underneath the windshield wipers of their vehicle to find. A simple loving message on the answering machine is another way to leave a Valentine.

If they are a movie lover choose one of the all time romantic classics. Write up an enticing invitation; hang up paper hearts, and just kick back cuddled up. You could also burn your own movie with your thoughts and special photos onto a CD. Add a colorful label with "Happy Valentine's Day."

If your loved one is far away you will find many websites with poetry, or cards you can send. What really matters is just taking the time to say I care in whatever way is you.

Your own creation will make it special and memorable.
