Being Single is your time to discover who you are! Too many people spend their single years searching and thinking only of finding that partner who will be their life time mate. Take this moment in your life to learn all you can about yourself and learn to really love yourself. You will never be happy in a relationship until you are completely happy with just being with you. There is no person that will ever be able to treat you as good as you can learn to treat yourself. There will never be anyone that can understand you the way you will understand yourself.

The years for being single are provided to you for good reason. Relationships, no matter how good they are, require a lot of compromise and focus on another person. Having years of being single helps you learn who you are, what you want and don't want, what you like and don't like without having to compromise on those desires. You should treat yourself during this time as the most important person in your life because once you take the hurdle to go into a relationship, you can no longer be selfish. So enjoy this time in your life! Discover everything there is to know about "you".

If you learn to enjoy being single, life is going to be fun and you are going to be happy. A life spent feeling like you must be in a relationship or married to be happy is degrading the value of who you are. Being happy is going to make you one of the most popular men or women on the block. People are drawn to people that are happy and self confident. Looking for a mate won't be necessary because he or she will find you. Your own inner self confidence and happiness that you will find by nurturing all that is good in you is the key to your happiness. Those Single Years were given to us for that purpose so use them wisely and when your life-mate does come, you are ready for the challenge.

Embrace the years you are single. If you learn about you and treat yourself as the best, this will be your expectation from others. High expectations should be your aim because you are the best. You will be able to offer others more by finding your own happiness. Happiness breeds happiness. Divorce rates would sure go down if we all took a little time to devote to ourselves before jumping in to relationships that are doomed because neither partner even understands who they are. If you don't even know who you are, how can you be expected to understand someone else and make all the necessary compromises asked of you.

Go out there now and enjoy your single status! If you feel like going out for a steak dinner, take yourself and enjoy every minute of it! If you want a candle lit dinner, prepare one for yourself, you deserve it! This is your time! Don't waste it wanting something you haven't taken the time to prepare yourself to handle. First rule, Enjoy the Single Time and the quality of life you can make for yourself realizing how important you are and what you are. Get out there now and enjoy being single!
