Painting Words
A poet's words are his colors, his brushes.
The soul his canvas.
Pictures in the mind, moving, stirring, creating. Vivid colors that make you laugh, love and cry.
Pictures not to hang on walls, but on the heart.See the pictures form, come to life, breathe. See it rest, comfortable, gentle.
Who is to say what colors to use, or what brush is best? Only the artist knows, for he paints the picture from his soul.
Can another say to not use this color, or that one? That the mountains should be higher, or the valleys more green?
No.
A poet's words, created from the heart,
Words,
Pictures in the mind.

Struggling words......
Laying on a back of moss

Spelling it all out before
I danced with the devil,
Because he fed me a line,
Words upon words,
Mixed with rose colored lies.
Words of deception,
Flowed
