Homework is simply a piece of work done at home at once. It usually reviews the days work or something that keeps kids busy for the night. The next day of school, teachers may or may not check on the homework. When a teacher assigns one piece of homework, it would simply mean more marking for the teacher. Since a regular class is about thirty students, so there will be thirty homework assignments to mark.
Some may think that they receive too much homework while others think that it isn't enough. There is actually no such thing as too much homework. The only thing is that students who receive this homework may not have time management skills. They could be doing homework all night long, while it can actually be done in an hour. Some students could also be waiting till the last minute to do their homework. It would later on be done all at once which can be a pain. While a teacher gives students three or four days to do it and the students wait until the final day. There can be a lot of pressure, since that homework could be finished in the first few days.
Even though some students are great with time management, they can still feel that they get a lot of homework. However, this is not true. Like how it is said before, students only have to do the assignment the teachers assign. So when the teacher assigns work to the students, students only have to do one assignment. What has never been notice is that the teacher will have to do over twenty times the marking. A teacher will know when they are giving too much homework. This is because when a teacher gives a huge amount of homework, there will be an extremely large amount of marking to do.
This goes to show that teachers do not give a lot of homework. With the right time management skills, many will find that doing homework will not be so difficult. There are also times when some teachers do give out a lot of homework. Some private schools do give a lot of homework to make sure it brings success out to the children. Some will find this necessary while others will find it unbearable. There are times when some teachers give too much homework in order to let the students to do well. If all students ever do all day, some will think that it will help them a great deal with their future careers.
There are some times when homework is simply not too much, but there are times when we just receive too much homework. Sometimes it just simply depends on the situation that most people are in. Generally speaking, nobody really thinks that homework is been given too much. This is because no matter how much it is given, it is always able to be finished. One of the main issues for some people to believe children receive too much homework is simply time management. Some kids do not have any time management skills so when school ends to the next day is just simply do homework. Without good time management skills, it can take away many things that kids love to do. Instead of doing those things, they will be caught in doing homework.
