The Best sport?

It's all apples and oranges, every sport has it's greatest moments and tragedies. All offer the chance, at the professional level, to be a world class athlete, and they all offer the chance for career ending injury and long term affects of the abuse on the body.

The training, the dedication, the pain and the glory, I have a my opinion but someone in another sport would see parts of it my way, but have their own good points to make their case.

The best sport is the...... The competition to beat the clock or the person opposing you. It doesn't care if it's embraced on the asphalt blacktops in Harlem or the fast track in Kentucky. Sport is found in every corner of the world by every living being. Animals jostle and play, they just do it without equipment, and just as we do, they learn lessons and hone important social and physical skills for an adult life.

The best sport can be found in the Yellow jersey, Lombardi trophy or the "Cup", because every time someone hoists a championship, that takes precedent as the best sport at that moment, in it's crowning of a new champion. Why do you think they have different seasons of sports? We'd go crazy trying to watch them all at the same time.

There's something to admire from all sports, but the best sport of all, is the sport of sport itself.
