Poetry: That girl

I saw a woman standing right in front of me..
She looks pale and sick..
She looks sad and ill..
She closes her eyes long..

I look at her..
Wondering who she is..
Wondering what she is doing...
Wondering why she closes her eyes that long..
I look at her so closely..

Then, suddenly she opens her eyes..
Slowly.. very slowly..
And a single tear slides down her face..

She shoots me in the eye..
It such an angry look
but I can't feel anger..

Her look shoots me right in the eye..
It feels like a sharp knife slices my heart into pieces..
It cuts my heart so deep..

I look at her again..
Wondering who she is..
Wondering if I knew her..

I try to feel her..
But, I can't..

She is not running away..
She is still there..

I try to reach her again..
But, what I touch is
Me..
