Poetry: Nothing to me

by Amy Alves

Created on: February 28, 2009

you are nothing to me

but a blank picture on my wall

how could I let you off so easy

after all this trust you let me fall

.

You are nothing to me

but the emptyness inside

don't smile my way boy

I'm trying to run, to hide

.

Trying to hide from that pain you are causing

the pain that shows to no strangers

only if you could see my heart

could you see the dangers

.

the dangers that each day you bring

just by being

the dangers that removed my heart

there's no going back

no second start

the dangers that pierce my brain

foaming at the mouth

my utter dismay

.

Dangeres that tore us apart

the day you became nothing.
