The Old Oak Tree
Years of time and seasons go by
Reaching. Ever reaching for the light blue sky
The limbs branch out stretching for the sun
Waving to the wind to thank everyone
The water is raised and trunk grows strong
High at the top it hears a little bird song
As day turns to night and summer turns to fall
The oak tree grows over 40 feet tall!
The leaves are as paddles in the ocean of the wind
Making ruler of the day the only best friend
Spreading out wide
Providing the shade
With a large cast shadow that will never ever fade
Eventually the old oak tree will wither and go away
But the legend of tree in nature will stay.
