The Legend of Night
The cool breeze takes its place
As the dampness of shadows slow their pace
The sky is bombarded with lights of fire
Creating a mood that can truly inspire
As the midnight sun rises in occasion
The creatures of the dark start the invasion
The night is dark and the sky deep blue
The wind gives answers as the owl goes "who"
The blades of grass slice through the air
As the nocturnal creatures look with a psycodic stare
Over the hills and over the plains
The leader of the day cries out with pain
A battle will begin in the field of the sky
That will created a clash of a sound so high
Fire and rock compete for a chance
For an anticipation for an awakening glance
The battle will be over but the war will not stop
Because the legend of night will rise to the top
The night is the home of all mystery
But as night turns to day
It will be ancient history
