The NASCAR season is once again in full swing, and many fans are looking for tickets. There are many places online that sell NASCAR tickets. You may also be able to find tickets at a large discount, sold by season ticket holders, or fans who bought tickets that they ended up not being able to use. Remember that you will always get the best pick of seats if you are a season ticket holder at your local track. Season tickets can be very pricey, so many fans purchase tickets to single races.

First, and most obviously, call the venue. You can visit www.nascar.com for a complete list of all Winston Cup race tracks. Call the venue as soon as possible, and they will be able to help you with your purchase. You can also purchase season tickets through the track of your choice.

You may also try finding tickets on NASCAR's own website, www.nascar.com. This site sells tickets to all NASCAR races, and offers the best selection of tickets to races.

Don't forget to check out online sites like craigslist.com and ebay.com. There are also many other auction sites that may have tickets available for bidding or outright purchase. NASCAR fans will use these sites to sell unwanted tickets to races. As always, though, be careful of scams. Many scammers also use these sites to make a quick buck, so make sure you research the deal before you exchange your cash for tickets.

You can also visit StubHub at www.stubhub.com, or TicketMaster at www.ticketmaster.com. These sites offer seats to NASCAR races, but sometimes levy hefty convenience fees, so you may want to do a price comparison with other sites before you purchase.

And finally, another great site to visit if you are looking for NASCAR tickets is http://www.nascarracetickets.c om. This site offers tickets for all races, and you can purchase online. The prices are comparable to other sites, and they have a great selection of seats.

If all else fails, go to the track a few hours before the race begins. There are usually plenty of fans who have tickets that they won't be able to use due to a family emergency, or other commitments. You may be able to find tickets at less than face value. I obtained free tickets to a race through my employer last year, and couldn't use them. I took them to our local track and gave them away. Situations like these are rare, but you may get lucky.

Buying tickets in person at the box office at the race track is pretty safe. However, if you choose to purchase online, or from someone in the parking lot at the race track, make sure you fully research the seller or situation before you make the purchase.
