The way that God works is amazing to me. God created me, breathed life in me, made a way for me to spend eternity with Him, and He has loved me when others could not. I know there is a God, THE God, just like I know there is a night and a day, but some days I still don't "believe" in Him.
The title, "God believes in you. Why do you not believe in him?" means something totally different to me than atheism vs. Godliness. To me the fact that God exists is not an argument for me to argue. It seems senseless in that fact that I don't understand how you could argue against it. The point I will try to make is that sometimes in hardship, I forget that I have a greater power, a Higher being than myself that I could call on to help me through.
I was raised in a Christian home, thank God for that. I have also been very hurt by "christians" that I put too much faith in. I have looked up to heaven and been in awe at the Maker who created all and still remembered me, and I have been at such dark points in my life that I just look around and wonder at the very purpose of everything. I can't say that I have ever truly doubted there being a God, but I have wondered where was God when I needed Him.
God loves me and He loves my family. He gave me a wonderful help mate in my husband, four of the most beautiful, unique children in the world, and He makes sure that all my needs are met. God is great. Yet when I hit a rough patch in my life and there are many and some are even daily, I forget to take the time to thank God for all that is great and instead dwell on all that could be better. I forget to take the problems that are bigger than I am to the Lord. God believes me strong enough to handle what He gives me, He believes in me. But yet I forget to believe in Him to give me the strength and the wisdom to prevail. Life is hard sometimes. Without faith in God to make it through sickness, turmoil, death and other hardships, how do people make it through?
God does love us, all of us. Even the very ones who refuse to acknowledge His beauty and presence in their life. He will wait upon you and believe in you till your final breath is drawn on this earth. If you refuse Him even then, it will be too late. I will not try to convert anyone, I don't have to meet a quota to make God happy, but I do have to tell others the truth about God. The truth is until you begin a personal relationship with God and His son, you are walking in the dark trying to find a handle. There is an afterlife that consist of either heaven or hell, make no mistake about that. The decision you make is entirely up to you. God believes in you enough for you to make the right choice.
