NO USE
Pulling into a truck stop one day
My eye caught a beautiful young lady standing alone
I slipped up to her but
She must have known my intentions
AND SHE SAID
No use trying to talk your way into my world
I've been hurt enough, I thank you
No use trying to tell me it'll be all right
Because I've heard that too many times before
As I laid my hand gently upon her shoulder
She said no use trying to get me to change my mind
No use denying I appeal to you, I can see that
And no use trying to get me to come your way
No use trying to talk your way into my world
I've been hurt enough, I thank you
No use trying to tell me it'll be all right
Because I've heard that too many times before
There's just no use trying to change her mind.
