Critique of America's justice system

this aggressive, deceptive activity with a "loser" attorney and the courts become a sham.

Our experiences include a divorce issue, injury, a police assault and fraud, we retained attorneys to represent us. We have been passed from attorney to attorney, with a variety of excuses. Encapsulated in our experiences our retained counsel never bothered to contact supporting witnesses, such as social services, mental health counselors or doctors. Supporting documents were never used to refute lies told to the courts, for example police reports documenting a separation or letters supporting housing. We were a victim of a police assault, it occurred in a CVS pharmacy, cameras were everywhere - my attorney convinced me to accept a guilty plea with argument that "police lie all the time on their reports, I would not be believed", the attorney refuted the cameras by saying that if I got upset it would go against me, I accepted the punishment out of convenience. However I wanted the video for an appeal or to press charges against the assaulting cops, this attorney never responded to my calls. In this case the prosecutor asked me to find my attorney, who was timesharing my case, did not bother to validate the police report and did not even bother to review my outline that I provided them. In this event witnesses had tried to intervene, an elderly couple was threatened and a child scared - none of these witnesses were listed on the police reports. In the police incident I paid two thousand dollars for four hours of work, the attorneys that I paid did not contact any supporting witnesses and made no effort to refute the charges - they have not responded to any communications after the trial.

The classic response is that there is supposed to be something called the "Bar", when one talks to their members they claim that this organization will censor their behavior, this is not the case. When we presented our issues with our retained members to this "Bar", the response was that they did not address "strategy" issues. That if our counsel did not file a paper or did not show up then they would address it. Ironically an attorney that we retained apparently absconded with their clients settlements and payments. The "Bar" took action, however since our case was a pro-bono case we were irrelevant, the "Bar" sent the files and dismissed us, the case was damaged and of course we were not "clients of choice". In each of our situations we have presented our issues to this organization and
