Should women be limited on the number of children they have?

Women should be able to have as many children that they can afford. If the children are not at risk, she should be allowed to have them. There are several factors that should be considered before a women decides to have a large family. If she can mentally, physically and financially support them, it is fine. There are factors that also include the method that the women decides to take to have these children.

I think if a women decides to have twins or more, the doctor should discuss the health risks that are involved with this decision. If a women should carry more than one baby, her chances of a healthy birth is not the same as if she would have one baby. Women are on the Internet purchasing clomid, a drug that helps a women conceive multiples by releasing more than one egg at a time. This drug should be carefully monitored. It can cause a woman's eggs to be large and may cause a cyst or worst. Should a person have a say in women taking drugs from the Internet to conceive multiples? I do not think women should take such measures but this fertility obsession has gone out of control. What was meant for women who had problems conceiving is now available without any limits to women who desire to have multiples.

Women should not have a large family if they are in a financial bind. It is not the responsibility of working people to support a family that they did not choose. I think a woman should make sure that she is able to feed the children as well as pay her rent or mortgage so she can provide a stable home for the planned children. Milk is not cheap. If a woman decides to breast feed she still has to make sure that she is able to buy food for herself to nourish her body to support the children.

Children are a blessing that deserves to be in a home where they can grow, develop and live in a comfortable and safe environment.

It should not matter the amount of babies a woman desires to have as long as her doctor discuss the risks that can be involved with multiples and the risks to herself. It is in the best interest of the babies for a woman to try to conceive no more than three at a time. Once the woman heals, go back for more. Give the babies a chance to grow properly in the mother's womb. A s long as a woman is healthy, she can go back and have more if that's what she want.

Women should not be restricted in the number of children that she decides to have; unless the welfare of the future children will be unsafe for them.
