Ocean Spray has a long history of serving the nation up some of the best Cranberry juice drinks available.

Cranergy Energy Juice is a new addition to the Ocean Spray juice line up. This juice blend offers less sugar and calories as well as a natural boost from B vitamins and the Green Tea complex EGCG. Cranergy comes in three flavors: Cranberry Lift, Pomegranate Cranberry Lift, and Raspberry Cranberry lift.

The drink is sweet, though not too sweet and the taste of the green tea shines through ever so slightly in the end making Cranergy a very refreshing drink. Cranergy was created to fulfill the need for an energy drink that is low in sugar, not full of questionable additives or herbs such as guarana and that is all natural.

The energy "lift" created by the drink is far more subtle than other energy drinks and takes about thirty to forty five minuets to take full effect. The great thing is that once the natural lift is achieved, your body does not crash because the energy burst is not artificially created. The B vitamins are metabolised and you are left with energy all day long.

Cranergy tastes great and caters to the busybody health food loving crowd. Cranberry juice lovers also will love Cranergy because the taste is different yet close enough to actual cranberry to seem familiar.

The individual servings are exactly twelve ounces, which seems spare for those who are not used to a "normal" portion size. The larger bottles are forty six ounces, which still seems small for the price, but the benefits are in the bottle nutritionally. Besides B vitamins Cranergy is also rich in vitamin C and natural antioxidants from the cranberries.

There are thirty five calories in one eight once serving and it is sweetened with Splenda, which is a low calorie sweetener derived from natural sugar. I would recommend Cranergy to anyone who enjoys the benefits of energy drinks but does not want to put all of the sugar and caffeine in their bodies.

As mentioned above, the flavor is not very sweet, but it is refreshing and but may take some getting used to. Cranergy is a simple drink and I like the flavor, mouthfeel and affect of the product. I have been drinking Cranergy since last year and will continue to consume this product.

My only qualm is that it is a bit expensive and I feel that I can only buy it when I can afford it. If the price was more sensible than I would partake in this wonderful Ocean Spray beverage every day. I feel that Cranergy is a great juice drink to have in the morning with breakfast, or just when you a need a boost in the middle of the day. Try it!
