love me one for one day like I do you

so you'll know how I feel and what I went through

maybe then you would truely see

how that short spell had broken me

we were only two months in puppy love

seeing eachother like angels from above

I pushed you out with no remorse in my heart

shortly there after the pain began to start

I have thought of you each and every day

though I know you dont view me now that way

I must have hurt you cause you never looked back

now your gone from the patience I lack.

theres no chance of you looking in my eyes

now my words to you are simply desparate cries

numbness in your heart is what you expose

maybe you hurt to even now... who knows

so when you sleep tonight in your bed

no matter where it is you lay your weary head

remember me and think of my heart

because my missing you has ripped it apart

I know this is weak and should've of moved on

I have had alot of fun since youd been gone

but your always there in thoughts without relief

I wish you could see me now and turn a new leaf

dream of me tonight as you drift off to sleep

hear my falling tears for which I still tend to weep

know my pain runs straight to the soul

and our short spell had certainly taken its toll

if only I could have met you now

for bad timing, murphy, I give you a bow

those laws from him get me all the time

I shouldnt have yelled you at the drop of a dime

a broken record is how I must sound

its the same ole story each time around

I miss you and cry out a crazy poem

wishing with all my heart youd just come 'home'

I blame myself and thats not really fair

cuz youd have taken part of the pain if you care

I know you dont and were here for only fun

I wish I to could've turned off my heart when we were done

dont get me wrong im not crazy, obessed, or fatally attracted

but even months later thoughts of you keep me distracted

come back to me or stay out of my ever tired head

waking another day by myself my heart dead.

so please for one day love me like I do you

then maybe we could start over and make a new

I could climb up in your arms warm and snug

and melt off to sleep in that big superman hug
