Does the US media portray immigrants only as people of color?
Let us think for a moment about when we see a African American running down the street, and I must ask you would you look behind you to see if a police officer was running after him, or would you look ahead to see if he was trying to catch a bus that was about to leave him. Don't feel bad if you choose the police officer because I did the experiment and turn to watch how the people responded and 60 out of 40% of the people I bereaved watched both white and black look for the officer of the law. How about this when you see a group of dark skinned Arabs does the though of them being a terrorist come to mind. I ask 40% of the people in the downtown area of Reno, and they said not only do the think but they know that these Arab's are terrorist.
How about when the Caucasians brothers or sisters drive up to a stop light and you see a lone African American standing by your car waiting for the walk sign to turn in his favor do you, just for safety sake click that lock. I have also had the experienced that so many times that I would need twenty hands to count the times I've heard that sound.
The imagines of this doesn't come from your natural fear of people of color, but from the media's portraying immigrants and people of color as the enemy of the state. Look at the popular movie starring Gene Hack and Will Smith; it wasn't Gene that was running for his life from five angry white men who were hunting the get fresh Prince of Belair. Will Smith was the notorious main Character in the Enemy of State. And mind you it is our wonderful Black video's of Young Black men painted vividly in crimes of robbery, rape, and being the portraits of thugs. I am not saying that we as people don't open the door and give people the reason. But since the resent cartoon drawing of our President as a monkey, and not one of my Christian friend's have said nothing about that in justice!
My movement is never to come against the very country I love and would protect with my life, but we must see that we need to turn from the force of darkness and change. Being lead to the marvelous light, of the gospel. Jesus Christ the lover of my soul was killed by the Latin Caucasians Roman Empire, but was betrayed by his own people the Jews. Christ love covered both sins by the multitudes of His great love.
We as a nation need to grow up before we below up and tear this country apart.
