When to care if your Helium article is rated low

star or an extra one (should your score be below 75%), then it's also worth leaping the worst ranked articles towards the end of the month. If successful, you would receive an extra $0.50 per article that's submitted to eligible channels for upfront payments. Note: it's perhaps best to leap the articles that are in last place first.

6) It might also be ideal to leap an article when someone else's submission above yours gives wrong/harmful information out if it's on a topic where harm could be caused no matter how small or big said harm is. It's pretty bad as well feeling wise when an off-topic article or one that could cause harm is rated above one that's on topic and gives the correct information out. At the same time as leaping, do flag the article that caused you to leap. It could potentially kill two birds with one stone.

7) Even if you do not hold any serious aspirations to do with writing, it's still best to try and get your articles ranked as highly as possible. It will benefit you in the long run in terms of earnings potential, which most if not all people care about. Besides, improving your writing will help with specific things in real life like letter writing. So, the motivation to have articles not sink to the bottom of the pile should always be there.

As a general note to close the article, it's best not to worry about an article's rank if it's above the 75% or 50% mark. By all means though, if you have no others that are lower than those two scores, then leap away. The articles that should be leaped first can be found if you click on your about me page, show all articles and then go to the last page. The ones there need leaping and remember that the bottom 10% of non-creative writing/competitive articles doesn't count towards determining your writing score.
