How to survive a zombie Apocalypse

sort of intelligence or coordination, such as a rope ladder. Rope ladders can also be cut or retracted in the event that the undead find a way to utilize them.

Create renewable or highly destructive traps, and kill kill kill!

Survivors may see the unrelenting hordes of undead and lament that they could never contribute to solving the epidemic. This, however, is not true. If 1/100 people survive, each person need only kill an average of 100 zombies to end the problem entirely. The best way to do this is to set up large and destructive traps in areas where zombies will likely concentrate. You may need to trick the hordes into converging on a single spot.

For example, hunt down explosives or make some napalm and apply it to a particularly large zombie group. Collapse tall buildings on them. Acquire a tank from the local abandoned army base and go nuts. Think big. Oh yes, and try not to do any of this near your home base. You won't like the smell, nor the possibility of setting your building on fire.

Don't forget about the trauma

You and your fellow survivors (if there are any) will likely be severely traumatized by the whole event. Loved ones will be zombies, and the dead will be scattered everywhere. Additionally, apocalypses tend to put people on edge. The best thing you can do, once things have settled a bit, is try to keep everyone sane. You may want to get some heavy duty antidepressants for the lot of you, but perhaps keeping people talking will work best. Maybe you can loot a bookstore and find some books on getting over shock and PTSD. It may seem like a waste of time at first, but keeping everyone humanized will help keep everyone, well, human.

If the zombies are living humans enraged by a disease, some things will need to be done a bit differently. You should hide, and hope that it's all a bad dream. If it isn't, you're pretty much dead.

I hope that this guide helps save some of you in the future. Good luck.
