If I had to wait ages for that one night would it still mean so must to me? It might
But I wouldn't expect it to be anything less
But it's just another night for you like all the rest
Nothing could prepare me for what happened next
The failure of the best laid plans does not make sense
The failure of judgment, the non existence of sentiment is
Not what I expected but what I was met with
Now somehow I feel more emotional about the wait
Because in the realm of unpredictability my mind could wanted about the possibility
Of what you destroyed with certainty
