Having a pet is one of the happiest decision you can make in your life. Of-course, it comes with a responsibility that you need to have by owning a pet. A pet is like a child of yours that you really want to show your affection, take good care, and love them with all of your heart.
I personally own two dogs, their name are Frodo and Kohey. Frodo is a half German Shepherd while Kohey is a Yorkshire Terrier, so it means that I have one big and one small. I really enjoy and spent quality time with them because these dogs really find ways how to make me happy. They always lick my face, kiss my lips, and hug me. They also do that to my Parents and brother, I am happy to know that these dogs really show their gratitude and thankfulness in my Family.
Frodo, the big one, knows his role as a big dog, he always guards the house and it shows that he really wants to protect us. He also do some tricks that my dad taught him when he was still a puppy that makes our neighbors and friends amaze at him. While Kohey the little one also knows his role as a little dog but he also knows how to be a big dog in his actions. He really wants to beat Frodo, he is always jealous of him that he does what frodo does. Its funny to look at them competing with each other, but the most important thing is they bring laughter and smile on our faces that we already consider them as a member of our family. My mom always give them milk every morning as their breakfast and they also have a snack time for the afternoon. They are also brilliant I tell you, that they know when to do their moves, they know when to carress you, and they know how to respect when your emotion. Now, we cannot go on a vacation because of our dogs, we cannot leave them alone because these dogs has already been a part of our lives.
Ofcourse doing their roles as a pet is not east so you need to do your part as a home owner like by giving them shelter, showing your love and affection to them, giving them foods and their basic needs. You should also protect them from harm and danger. If you are going to the mall or other places that you can not bring them with you, you should make sure that you have given them food and water so they wouldn't be hungry waiting for you.
The rewards of having a pet is experiencing love, affection, care, responsibilities, and happiness. I would never forget these two dogs of mine who will always be forever a part of my heart.
