God loves each of us as if there were only one of us. ~St. Augustine
I can add to this quote, that this is simply because there is only one of us. All are as one within God. This simply means that God of himself can do nothing. God works and exists through us his creation. Before creation God was just God, nothing was happening, all was perfect. God created the imperfection within himself by cutting parts of himself off from himself by granting these parts their full freedom of being.
The parts were of course still perfect, but most of the parts no longer knew this.
What can God do for us? We can allow him back into our lives again so that we again see the perfection within ourselves of God. We are created from God, and we remain a perfect part of God at all times. All other views of ourselves are just that, only ever our own distorted view from the eyes of ourselves, rather than us seeing the bigger picture possible for us to see from the eyes of God still in us looking out from our heart with love for all things.
This is what God is always doing. God monitors the timing of events and leads the lords of karma into crediting their created conditions back to creation. God is the instigator of all action. No action takes place unless he gives the final freedom to it. We have free choice within this arbiting overrule of Gods.
We cannot do anything to cause permanent damage to God's own designs. As soon as we try to, the Universe itself then conspires against us to prevent this from happening. The law of attraction in reverse brings the balancing factors back to us when we try to unbalance anything. This law doesn't so much bring to us what we want, as much as it attracts to us what will balance us out in our currently held position of who we are really being right now.
The feeling remains that God is on the journey, too. ~Teresa of Avila
God is on our journey with us. Is God on his own separate journey too?
No, God is only on our journey with us when we allow him to accompany us on our journey. Love sits with God as God, allowing all to take place within God. God does nothing of himself, allowing us to do all things either through him or through ourselves. If God did anything himself this would restrict our own freedom. And so God allows us total freedom to be ourselves in ourselves, or to be the God in us and which amounts to being God in us.
Allowing God to be us in our journey empowers us and God to be together and allows us to move as one in the overall journey of
