London is one of the most popular tourist friendly destinations that can be visited at anytime of the year. There are several ways to enjoy in London provided you carefully plan your trip ahead of time. Whether it's going to be family fun vacation or just a break on holidays, rest assured you are going to have a time of your life in London.
Planning your trip
If you thoroughly plan your trip from the designated spots to the means of getting there then you'll be able to take full advantage of what London has to offer. Planning your trip pretty much depends on your availability of time. If you are here for a couple of weeks then you'll have to move fast otherwise you can have a laid back vacation.
The most convenient way to get around the city is by public transportation so utilizing it to the utmost is guaranteed to have a fun filled trip to London. A good start will be to have a road map outlining the places to visit and amount of time you are willing to spend. The interesting thing about these places is that you may think that you will spend a couple of hours but once you get there it's a whole new situation you may end up spending your whole day and later regret that I wished I could have visited one more place. So one tip that will help is to start as early as possible since most indoor places such as Museums and Palaces closes either by 5 pm or latest by 6 pm and please no regrets "I wish I had more time" you are there to have fun and do the best of your abilities not rush and end up losing the element of fun.
Planning your trip will also include the place you are staying during your holidays. Chose a hotel close to Central London since most of the famous London landmarks and eventful places are located in the vicinity and this will save you a lot of time, money and energy of course in traveling but if that's not feasible then you will have to fully understand the London map and train, bus routes etc.
Central London
The central part of London is composite of various architectural places, structures and happening spots. The main center being the Trafalgar square is the landmark of London, once the feeding ground for flocks of pigeons is now packed by tourists from all parts of the world.
Located just above the Trafalgar is the National gallery housing the vast and ultimate collection of paintings by artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Michelangelo, Rafael, Leonardo Da Vinci, Claude Monet are some to name and their paintings are marked by the distinctive era.
