What can you really say about Michael Jordan? Michael is definitely one of the best basketball players in NBA history. Michael spoiled the fans in Chicago by winning 6 NBA championships. Two separate occasions they won it three seasons in a row; 91-93 and from 96-98. The Bulls were the most dominating team in the 90s.

Michael Jordan won two gold medals in 1982, and 1992 with the first dream team. Jordan also won 5 NBA MVP's; 1987/88, 1990/91, 1991/92, 1995/96, 1997/98. In all six championships Michael was named MVP in each championship series. Micheal led the league in scoring 10 out of his 19 year career. Micheal is a 10-time All-NBA first team. In the 1984/85 season he was All-NBA second team. He was a 14 time All-Star. Michael won 3 All-Star MVP's. Michael is also a 9-time All-defensive team. In the 1987/88 season Michael was named Defensive player of the Year. Michael was also named rookie of the year in the 1984/85 season. Michael Jordan won two slam dunk contest in 1987 and 1988.

In Michael Jordan's career; Michael finished with 32,292 points along with 6,672 rebounds, and 5,633 assists. Michael was a first round draft pick and third pick over all by the Chicago Bulls in the 1984 NBA draft. With all of achievements that Michael has, you can see why he was one of the best basketball players in the history. I was never a Bulls fine, but I loved watching Michael Jordan play. When he first came to the NBA, I thought he was a ball hog. As he got older in the NBA, he started to become more of a team player. When he had that tongue stick out of mouth, you knew he was going to do something spectacular. I will always remember a move that he did against Sam Perkins in the 1991 NBA finals, Sam Perkins of the Laker's tried to block his shot, and in mid-air, Jordan switch the ball from his right to his left, and still layed it in to score over Perkins. I have to admit that was one of the most amazing shots I have seen. I remember in the 1992 NBA Finals, Jordan put up 5 or 6 straight 3-pointers, and went to scorers table with Magic Johnson and Marv Albert shrugged his shoulders, "like how can this happen?"

Michael, I will never forget you. You brought excitment to the game of basketball. I wish your dad could have seen you finish your career. I loved watching you play. Thank you for the memories that you brought into the NBA. I wish my kids could have watched you play also.
