All My Yesterday's
It's been a long, long time
But I've never had you off my mind
You walked back into my today
And with you came all my yesterdays
Memories of a love on fire
Bringing with it new desires
The mind says run away girl
The heart says you are my world
Forgiven are the tears of past
Back in waiting arms at last
Yesterday's love filling my heart
Knowing we'll never again be apart
Unexplained is the gift of love
But somehow from the heavens above
Time again in our hands we hold
To spend our tomorrows together growing old
Do we treasure more this second chance
The radiance of life-time romance
Is it truly two souls meant to be
Or only the longing for yesterday's memory

Poetry: Yesterdays
by Memee
Yesterdays always seem to arrive uninvited in my today's and sometimes even my tomorrow's.
Looking for a moment of silence

Yesterday
As I stand upon the edge of tomorrow
Looking across the sea of yesterday
The winds of the past beckon me to follow
And
by C F Tinney
Walking among the tree lined streets
of my childhood home, I recall
the yesterdays in my remembrance
as, with familiar purpose,
Slices of immense sadness.
Gestures of intense joy.
Only alive for twenty four hours.
Fragile porcelain flowers.
Warped
Yesterdays is where my memory stays
Thinking of of old and innocent ways
My oh my! those were the days
Songs of old
