Short stories: Life lessons

Do people really remember growing up all those years ago? I remember all of it and many people in the world do. For me I have a memory of a life lesson that was so dramatic that it shook my bobbled head. This lesson taught me to do no stealing from stores or any other places.

It was a cold but sunny day when the birds were singing and the flowers were blooming. I was only ten at the time going into my teen years were disaster would strike. My dad and mom were both thirty-five years old working on the garden outside. Dads name was Bill and moms name was Angie with the last name of Miller. You must know that they really loved to garden and it was there passion in life, so dad found me and told me to go with him to the store to get some garden trawls. I said,"OK dad" and when with him. In specific terms we were going to the wide selection of tools and candy shop in the middle of town.

When we were speeding down the country streets we came across a stop light and the car stopped. Bill pulled out some gum and I sat there gazing at the sunset in the afternoon sky. When the light turned green we pulled into the shop named, Tools For People, were the trawls lay on shelfs. Me and Bill walked in and went directly to what we needed to get.

At this point I was surrounded by all kinds of things ranging from candy to tools. I couldn't resist so I stole some sweet mints and a bag of suckers. I was stupid at the time because they only were five bucks and I had five hundred in the bank. I guess I was just to lazy to pickup the cash. Well anyway I ran out of the store to avoid being caught by the guards and dad. When dad bought the troul he also came to the car. At that very moment the guard yelled in the most worst voice ever saying,"stop you thief"! Dad didn't know what was going on so he faced me. The guard came to the door and told me I saw you steal so hand it over. My dad also sow the stolen goods so he took them out of my hands. The guard went back into the store and my dad was pissed. when we got back home that day I was cussed at and grounded for two weeks for punishment. That was really a life lesson for me.

I was in my bed very tired. There was nothing to do because dad took my laptop and ipod Nani. I say to all the thief's out there don't steal from anyone at anytime or you will get a punishment for good. I really learned my lesson for what I've done. I hope nobody ever steals form these poor stores making ends meat. I know I won't ever again in my lifetime.
