Poetry: Birthdays

by Sofia Choladze

Created on: February 21, 2009

I feel strange before a day of my birthday

I feel past will make me miss itself

although I don`t adore the shadow of my previous days

I can`t go on my way life is hard

my birthday is coming and looking me into my eyes

new age whispers in my ear it says to me everything best is ahead you

inspide of this I want to hand my past and doesn`t let it to leave me

feeling of regret calls me from my soul to listen to it

I miss my old age

I regret as I know it will never repeat again

I have no other way to find a way out of this situation

I hope I will show my passing days into the dreams of mine

I awake from my long sleep

because of ringing my phone

there were voices of my friends

then the hope of life came back to my place

I have made a decision to smile this life

as far as I know it brings me back double smile

rainy days fills me with tears

nature cries and share its sadness

and it grows a flower on the ground to congratulate me my birthday.
