There are several reasons why you are not rich. Here four are reasons why you aren't rich

- You don't have the work ethic to be rich

- You think you are an unlucky person

- You don't know how to manage money

- You can never satisfy yourself and will always think you aren't rich.

Now let's look at each which one of these reasons with more detail. Firstly, you are not rich because you don't have the work ethic to be rich. There are always those people who believe that God will one day bring a suitcase filled with cash and give it to them, or a director of a movie will pick them as a main character and they will roll in millions. This is far from reality. There are no reported cases of people receiving money from the heavens, and very few cases where an actor was randomly chosen without an audition. So you have to work your way to be rich. If you just sit around and don't do anything, you cannot be rich.

Secondly, you might think that you are an unlucky person. Some of us try our best and we still fail, and we stop believing in ourselves. Yes, not all of us are lucky but we can still make money through hard work. Get good grades in school, get a scholarship and become a doctor. Yes, it is hard but where is the luck factor involved here? Now of course you need to be in good health condition, but assuming you are an average middle class person hard work can take you to the top.

Third point is probably one of the biggest reasons why many people aren't rich. If you don't save money then you cannot expect to be rich. You might think that you can afford a big house and a car, but think again! You have to manage your money to be able to live a rich life. Managing money also involves investing the money. Your money will lose value if it is put aside in a bank account with 0.4% interest rate. This is why to become rich do something with your money! Invest it in the stock markets, invest in a business, deposit in a GIC and watch it grow!

Fourth point can only be applied to people who already have money, but want to become billionaires. To become a billionaire, you will need luck to a certain extent. That is why it is important to realize that hard work may not make you a billionaire. But for heaven's sake don't cry if you are a millionaire! If you are a millionaire you are already ahead of most people and are living the dream life of many. You need to evaluate your assets and read statistics online for your country. If you are well above the average, then you are already rich.

Although, many people are born into rich families and live and die rich; it doesn't mean that you cannot be rich. There are many self-made billionaires around the world. With a combination of luck, hardwork, self-awareness, and managing your money properly, you can become rich!
