The lottery is life.
Hopes are built on every ticket.
Buying hope is not a small thing.
Living on hope alone is to live in a desert.
Without water nothing can survive.
Without luck the lottery means nothing.

I bought my ticket this afternoon
I've been very good, so let me win
I recycle, paper, glass and
Step across the credit line
Spend more than you earn
Then pension off your precious time
And throw away your term.
Take a sip
I know you won't believe me
But just you wait and see
I picked the perfect numbers
and left the rest for thee
I'd pay off all

Life is a lottery,
not sure what is going to happen from one day to the next,
not even sure if we will
I know the odds are not the best,
And though I play each week,
And buy a single ticket,
My chances seem quite bleak.
