BLIND
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
Have You Ever Felt like you were loosing your mind?
And suddenly you could see.
This is not what you aspired to be.
Golly Gee, I thought I was free;
More like silly me.
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
Have You Ever Felt like you missed all the signs?
Like how did I get here?
Wait a minute, whats the year?
Everything I imagined, my heart is full of Fear.
I thought I could steer clear.
Too late, eyes full of tears.
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
Think things would change, somewhere, sometime.
But it never seems to happen that way.
That is why I live for tomorrow and today.
That is why I never say nay!
Because Hopeless is where I stay.
And it is never alright, and it is never O.K.
And this is not just what I say.
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
And there is no one to help you walk that thin line.
When am I going to stop being so dumb?
Are you or aren't you the one?
We are getting older, when is it time for fun?
When is it time to feel like I've won?
I need no more of this hateful stuff, None!
I think I am ready for this to be done!
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
Have You Ever Felt like you were dying?
And nothing you could do, could bring you back.
Have You Ever Felt Black?
And there is nothing you can do to stay on track.
There is nothing you can do, to get out of the stack.
The nuces around my neck only tightens, there is no slack.
When there is nothing you can do to make it white, Right, instead of Black!
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
Ever felt like you didn't have a spine.
Watch things go so wrong.
For so long, you held your tongue.
Have You Ever Felt like a sponge?
Will you ever miss me when I'm gone?
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
Ever been trapped by webs or Vines.
Finding it hard to get out.
Keeping quiet, instead of taking the right rout.
Instead of smiling, all you do is pout.
When the whole time, you should have opened or shut your mouth!
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
Like it just wasn't your time.
And you try and you try.
And you die and you die.
Always feeling like you have been denied.
But it doesn't matter how much you cry.
When every thing feels like a lie.
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
Searched but could never find.
What you were searching for.
Ever just wanted to settle or even the score?
Ever wanted just a bit little more?
Wanted to be like an Eagle and just soar?
Ever just wanted to not be bored.
Have you ever just wanted to sleep, to snore.
Or just wanted to get your feet on a solid floor.
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
Ever felt like you didn't have a spine.
Ever felt really confined.
Ever wanted to cross that Damn Line!
Knowing you would be caught.
Made an example of, and taught.
Never finding what you sought.
Bullets were all I bought.
Hopefully it matters how hard you fought.
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
Have You Ever been tired of people lying?
Not knowing what to believe.
Only knowing you have been deceived.
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
Have You Ever Felt like a lemon or lime?
Have You Ever Felt like you were a crime?
In the wheels of justice I grind.
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
Like love is really hard to find.
Even after all this time.
Me, I blame mankind.
Have You Ever Felt Blind?
