We all want to put our best face forward, but we don't always have time to pamper ourselves. Here is a collection of fifteen ways to save time and still be beautiful!
Use white strips for your teeth during your daily commute or use an overnight strip for shiny white teeth. Keep nails painted a pail pink or beige or clear. Lighter colors show chips less, extending the life of your manicure. Shop for face care in the produce section! The citric acid in citric fruits works great at revitalizing dull skin. Mix a 1/4 cup of yogurt, 1 tsp. of honey and 2 whole strawberries in a blender. Apply with clean hands and rinse off after 10 minutes.
Use baby wipes to remove makeup in a rush. They do a great job and are gentle enough for delicate face skin. Take pictures of yourself in outfits that make you feel really great. You will have an exact plan for putting the look back together, or a guideline to follow when buying something new. When washing dishes, apply a rich hand cream and don rubber gloves. The hot water will heat up the moisturizer so it soaks into your skin so you get a mini-manicure while doing a chore. Sneak exercise into your daily routine.
Suck in your stomach wile doing chores or waiting in line, do keigel's while driving, park at the far end of the parking lot and take the stairs whenever possible. Put on a face mask while cooking dinner. The steam will help the mask to soak into your skin, plus you can time your mask and dinner at the same time. Keep up with your "regular maintenance.' Just like your car, your body needs regular care and maintenance to keep it in top shape-and avoid major problems. Drink plenty of water, get lots of exercise and schedule regular check ups with your doctor. Get your makeup done at a cosmetics counter or salon. You will discover what colors look good on you and you can purchase drug store equivalents later.
Lather thick body lotion or Vaseline on your feet and pull on cotton sock before you go to sleep. Your feet will be baby soft by morning. Find a stylist you like then stick with them. Once he or she knows your hair and your style, you won't have to spend to much time explaining what you want or worrying about if you will end up with a style you hate. Be sure to tip well and remember them at the holidays for really great service!
If you smoke, stop! Not only will your skin, hair, teeth etc. look better, but not you can use your smoke-break time to take a short walk, file your nail or just relax.
Fix skin over breakfast! For inflamed skin, cook a puouch of plain instant oatmeal with buttermilk ir whole milk and apply to skin. Rinse off after 30 minutes. If you blow dry your hair, towle dry first so hair is just barely damp.Protect your hair wirth heat activated styling products before you blow dry, and if you use an iron to curl or straigten hair look for an ionic model. There you have it, fifteen ways to improve your appearance and put your best self forward!
