Understanding foot motion is something for a podiatrist to comprehend. However, since I have a plantar fascitis problem it is more relevant than you might otherwise consider. There is a world of difference between walking and exercising during a walk. Anyone can walk and gain a circulatory benefit from it, but walking with proper leg muscle to aid momentum and gait is a whole other world of strength.
When ones foot is more correctly guided by better developed leg stabilizers he can walk faster and more direct. There is wasted motion in walking ineffectively and slower. One needs to struggle more and his foot motion is more tired from working harder to go the same distance. Ankle, toe, and calf tightness are some of the symptomology that one experiences.
Ones back is very important in his daily foot movement, and if the back of the legs muscles are weak then he will endure more tiredness and weaker stance of self guidance as well.
Health is everything. The aggressive nature of foot cramping is quite disabling. It can cause an inflammatory condition which makes putting shoes on very painful since the fluidity of ones foot is replaced by non fluidity and water infused compartments of agony. Luckily, this condition relieves itself over a few days time.

An exercise ball that is designed for weight training is a good thing to acquire, you can do leg raises and adjust your stance simultaneously. Take the ball and place it against the wall so that when you lean back the weight is on the backs of your legs. This is midway between the upper and lower back. Next bend you knees so that they seem to overcast the tips of your feet. Squat and recoil to the previous ready position.
Understanding that foot motion is important to stamina and mental integrity will enable a person to change and reinvent his body posture. Correct posture is important to weight and motion distribution. Fixing this alone will enable a more productive and efficient ambulation to movement.
