Brisbane is a beautiful place to live and visit. It offers many different things to do for people from all walks of life. From the Cultural Precinct at South Bank, to walking trails on Mt Coot-tha, you will be guaranteed to find plenty to keep you busy in Brisbane.

South Bank is a beautiful example of the diversity of activities available in Brisbane. Sprawling along the southern bank of the Brisbane River opposite the city, it offers cafe culture, fine dining, swimming and playgrounds, BBQs and picnic areas. You will also find art installations nestled among rainforests and scenic riverside walks. Once you have eaten and played to your hearts content, you can stroll along the Bank to the Cultural Precinct. And all within a ferry ride of Brisbane.

Mt Coot-tha is a fantastic place to start as you can take a stroll through the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens, or hike along one of the walking trails. Once you are finished the Planetarium and restaurant and cafe with scenic views are there to refresh you. If you venture to the top of Mt Coot-tha, you will find a lookout with a view of almost all of Brisbane from the mountains to the Bays. This is a must see as it allows you to see the Brisbane River sprawling and meandering its way through Brisbane.

If shopping is more your style than hiking, then both the Brisbane City Centre and Fortitude Valley will be guaranteed to keep you shopping until you drop. The City itself offers boutique shopping as well as speciality and department stores. And of course a bustling cafe culture to make use of to rest weary feet and
