Poetry: Crayons and colors

by Crankymoon

Created on: January 25, 2007   Last Updated: May 14, 2007

Lost in wax and residue
of every different color's hue
from sweet chartreuse to aqua blue
we sweep the sky in rhythm.

Blown in glass in lily green
we color in a moving scene
of patterned pink azalea dreams
inanimate but living.

Fly the moon a wedding ring
of platinum and many things
of crayon shaving patterings
and watch the lunar smile.

Count the colors, count the sky
and pearl the whites in every eye
for we are still life's, you and I
-drawn pure in lines of color.
