It is undoubtable
That I have broken free
Of the chains which have restrained me
A temporary assistance
To misery
I'm still trying to heal the wounds
Made of all our best memories, frozen in time
And yet, there is a sense of pride
knowing I can sleep at night
Without hurting myself
Again and again
The storm has passed
As I wept countless times before
Now observing from a distance
With a smile perhaps
Knowing I can let you go
