Mary (Who, by the way is called the Blessed Virgin or the Blessed Mother in my article) is not divine. She is the most superb creature that God ever created. She is above all the angels and all the saints, but she is a creature none the less. She was conceived without sin, she lived without sin, and she died without sin.

She should be prayed to very often. She cannot answer the prayer on her own, but she will ask her Son to answer it for us. And she proved that she can do this at the Marriage at Cana. She told Jesus that there was no wine. He told her " My time has not yet come.", but the Blessed Mother told the servants "Do whatever He tells you." and look at what He did. Someone must have told her that the wine was gone, right? A prayer to the Blessed Virgin. She told Jesus of their trouble. Intercession of the Blessed Virgin. Jesus answered her prayer. Can anyone in their right mind again mention not to pray to the Blessed Mother? Look it up in the Bible, and tell people not to pray to her again. I dare you.

If Our Lord answered the prayer of the Blessed Mother even though His time had not yet come, then it is obvious that he respected her. And if Our Lord, Who (of course) is God Almighty, the second Person of the Most Holy Trinity and our Redeemer, respected a creature, then we ( disgusting worms that we are) should most certainly respect and honor her.

My mother likes to use the metaphor of "If you wanted a job, and the man who would hire you respected and loved his mother deeply, then wouldn't you like to have her speak well of you and be her friend? You would probably get the job" Its like that with The Blessed Mother.

Our Lady was mentioned to be sinless in Genesis and in the Gospels. Genesis 3:14 says " I will put enmities between thee and the woman and she shall crush thy head." God means Satan's head in case you didn't know. Yes he exists, and so does Hell. Ooooh, I said the H' word. Go tell Mommy. But, I digress. Back to the point. How can she crush Satan's head if he has already crushed her's? In Luke 1:28 the angel Gabriel said "Hail, full of grace the Lord is with thee" How can one be full of grace if they have sinned? Answer me that.

Many Protestants blaspheme by saying that Our Lord had brothers' and that therefore it 'proves' that the Blessed Virgin was not a virgin through her whole life. Excuse me, but the correct term would be bretheren'. The Jewish people at that time called many close relations bretheren' . The brothers' of Our Lord
