MY BLOODY VALENTINE

Her gaze is lost and lingering, off somewhere in the distance
Eyes worn, vastly contemplating
Fragments of a lost dream, a lover's vanity
Snowflakes that vanish as they're swept beneath the river's pull
If only emotions could be so motionless
That we could always hold onto the good ones
And drown the rest like stony teardrops in the stream

She's lost her words, in moments such as these
Two lovers nestled under silken covers
Language is unnecessary
When you're laying in the darkness, dreaming
Lost in perfect love and wandering lust
She is my sacred beauty, dark and so divine
She is what I yearn for, my bloody, sexy valentine

I've lost my heart to the lady in black
I've bared my naked soul for her to see
That I'm not so impure, that I am capable of loving
Despite the wounds of the past, the scars underneath
She is the reason I feel joy in a world filled with pain
Why unfathomable feelings of pleasure overcome me
In the moments that I feel her soft and yearning touch
