Which country's food is the best? Why?

soil composition. When one thinks Italy, most people think pasta, however, this country has so much to offer in culinary terms.

Just think of the abundant citrus fruits produced in Sicily, the pesto sauce from Liguria, the authentic Pizza from Naples and the variety of wines from Tuscany. Italy, is surely a country for those that love fresh foods at their peak with a touch of simplicity.

As France, Italy's regions produce different types of cuisine. The North typically uses butter and the dishes are much more elaborate while the South strives on using olive oil and the dishes are much lighter. While the cuisine is mostly mild, a few hot dishes may be prepared as well using hot peppers.

For those loving abundant meals, Italy is the place to be: with lunches consisting of antipasto, main course, second course, dessert, fruit and an expresso coffee, one cannot go wrong. Italian food may be described as passionate yet simple food that cannot be forgotten.

The Mexican Cuisine

Some like it hot. If you like that sizzling sensation on your taste buds, get yourself a glass of water and enjoy the Mexican Cuisine. Mexican cuisine has a lot of Spanish influences.

The Conquistadores imported many new products such as rice, beef and pork which combined well with the already established local cuisine. Many Mexican dishes feature corn which has been a staple for over 4,000 years, however, there are more exotic dishes from the Maya and Atzec styles.

Mexican cuisine has quite a lot of signature products and dishes, simply think of burritos, tortillas, guacamole, tequila, beans and the numerous varieties of chilies. While Mexican cuisine is avoided by some individuals because tought to be too spicy, truth is, there are some dishes that are pretty mild.

Mexican cuisine needs not to be confused with Tex-Mex food produced in the United States consisiting of very spicy foods. Authentic mexican cuisine is intense, very flavorful and full of passion.

The Indian Cuisine

When savoring Indian cuisine it feels almost like tasting the many flavors this land has to offer. Characterized by many different spices and offering a wide variety of vegetables, the Indian cuisine has a wide array of flavors.

India's religious beliefs and culture seem to have played a major role in this country's eating habits. However, this country has also been largely influenced by the many immigrants stopping by.

Vegeterianism is not uncommon in the Indian cuisine due to religious beliefs of the Hindu, Buddists and Jain
