The three snuck out the back of the C.A.S. building and headed for the Metro. When they reached the station, Carl pointed to a train and said "Therehurry!"

Without thinking, Max and Carl followed him and jumped onto the train as the doors were closing. After their exhausting sprint to the station, the three collapsed into the yellow plastic seats and breathed a collective sigh.

Max leaned forward to see Carl, who was sitting in the seat next to Aaron. "Ok, now where are we going?" She asked.

"There's only one person I would say I was truly friendly with over the period when the Brotherhood project was partially housed in my building. He's an atmospheric physicist that was hired by AARCO, one of the major players in the funding of the space station project. I'm sure you've heard of them," he said.

"Waitdid you say AARCO?" Aaron asked. "That's the private funder I was telling you about, Max. They're the contributor to the Davis campaign."

The weightlessness was crucial to some of the research and development they were doing. This scientist I was telling you about, Dr. Walter McHenry was helping to design the gravity induction system for the entire vessel."

The doors connecting their car to the next one opened and two men stumbled through, swaying back and forth with the movement of the train. They moved quickly toward the area where the three were seated. One man was talking on his cell phone and then placed it in his pocket. He reached around the back of his body to retrieve, what Max could only surmise was, a gun.

"Shit!" She said. "They followed us onto the train!"

"Let's go!" Aaron said pulling her behind him. The three of them ran to the next set of doors and struggled their way across the platform to the next car. They continued through the
