TV show reviews: Naruto

Uzumaki Naruto has been alone his whole life because of the Kyuubi, or the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox which was sealed within him by the Fourth Hokage- the leader of the village of Konoha- in exchange for the Hokage's life. This seal was done in hopes that Naruto would learn how to use the power of the Kyuubi to his advantage, and to aid the village in times of need. The Fourth Hokage willed for people to look upon Naruto as a hero, however, that, regrettably, was not how people looked at Naruto.

The villagers of Konoha shunned Naruto, and looked at him as if he were the demon itself. Naruto at the time was a child, and an orphan who desperately wished for people to acknowledge him, and to accept him as one of their own. He had one major dream, to become the Hokage of Konoha. However, no one was willing to except the child, and kept their children away from him, making him even lonelier. Finally, on the graduation exam for the academy, Naruto is failed by his teacher, Iruka, and hides in humiliation. However, he steals a secret scroll, and learns a forbidden move within it, the Shadow Clone Technique, which Naruto uses later on a man who threatens Iruka's life, and defeats.

He obtains Iruka's recognition, and passes his exam. He then pairs up with Haruno Sakura, a girl he has a crush on; and Uchiha Sasuke, his rival. Sasuke and Naruto have been rivals ever since they were kids. However, as they take missions together, a special and unbreakable bond forms between the two friends. It is that bond that pushes Naruto throughout the rest of the series

They are known as Team 7' and are led by Hatake Kakashi, and soon go on many missions to gain power and experience. As they progress, they each learn new abilities, and they get to know each other, and other villagers better.

Uchiha Sasuke seems to be after something himself. Sasuke is the last member of his clan, and his dream is to rebuild his clan, and to kill the man who destroyed the clan. Sasuke is willing to go to any extent, good or evil, to get his revenge, and it is just that, which may help him obtain it.

However, unaware to the group, a mysterious organization by the name of Akatsuki begins to pursue Naruto, in hopes of obtaining the Kyuubi. Akatsuki isn't their only problem either, an old member of Akatsuki, Orochimaru, seems to be pursuing his own desires... Assassinating the Third Hokage and destroying Konoha.
