How to effectively lose weight fast

First of all, there is no magic pill you can take to lose fifty pounds in an hour or whatever the lastest claim in the National Enquirer is- It does take a little work and more than a little willpower. This is not a fad diet where you make a soup out of jalepeno peppers or something equally weird it is just good solid tips to get that unwanted weight off fast and keep it off. The quickest way to lose 5-7 pounds in less than a week is to drink nothing but water, switch everything else you drink over to water, no coffee, sweet teas, no soda even diet, this may be hard at first but you need to do this to lose weight fast. Try some of the powdered flavor mixes such as Crystal light if you feel you cannot stand water. Drink plenty of it, you are flushing out the extra fluid in your body which will cause you to lose weight fast.

2Also important to lose weight fast is that you need to eat(yes you read it right) Eat three small meals a day with a hundred calorie snack in between. If you starve your body by skipping meals it will hold on to whatever you eat and store it as fat against future starvation. The trick to lose weight is to make your body secure in the fact that it is going to get another meal soon therefore revving up your metabolism and getting rid of the meals as soon as you eat them. Make sure that these meals are healthy-however much you ate before consider cutting that in half-chew your food slowly and drink a glass of water with each meal. Get smaller dinner plates if that will help. Never eat standing at the counter or stove make each meal a sit-down event so that you will feel full and satisfied.

The first couple of weeks cut out almost all add-on fats, no mayonaisse, butter, sour cream you will lose weight fast if you substitute low-fat things such as salsa in their place. You can return these things in MODERATE amounts after a couple of weeks but you may find you do not miss them as much as you thought. Eat your last meal of the day before 6:00 p.m. have a light 100 calorie snack in the evening it is easier to lose weight fast if you feel like you are eating all the time.
It is important to realize that losing weight should not be considered a short-term goal, you must change your eating habits and your lifestyle. As soon as you go back to an unhealthy diet you will gain all the weight back that you lost and probably more with it. As you start to feel better about yourself consider adding an exercise program to your new healthy diet, not only will you have more energy and feel great about yourself you will also lose weight even more quickly.
