The important word in this title is 'IF' a tree falls and there is no one to hear it. Symbolically we could say this means that if someone comes up with a new theory whether it be in science or medicine or even philosophy, will it be accepted or rejected. Will people listen? In the creative fields of art and writing many new thinkers were actually killed for their beliefs. Socrates and Plato and Jesus are examples. People hiding in safe systems don't want new challenge if it upsets their apple carts. Communist countries suppressed any creative individual thought with death if it threatened their status quo.

You know if a tree falls in the woods and there is no-one to hear it, then maybe the whole world is not listening to earth's heartbeat and a shakeup is needed. I know it sounds awful but sometimes a natural disaster makes people think differently about their lives. Why the story of Sodom and Gomorrah is a good example. So let's end on that note, that if we don't listen to our Creator or the natural world made for us, there may be many more trees falling until we are prepared to hear. Tune into the earth and you will hear the roots creaking before the tree falls.
