Human or Ghost standing on my bed?

My experience with a ghost takes place in my first mobile home. After you read my experience; you decide, haunted or not.

I can remember the day like it was yesterday. Nothing was out of the ordinary until that night. It was dove hunting season, so my family went to bed early that night to wake up the next morning around 4:30a.m.

I was sleeping peacefully in my bed as I was in a deep sleep; I attempted to turn over on my left side. I awoke with a rapid heart beat, and a startled feeling when I was unable to move my legs. Someone's weight was preventing me from turning over on the opposite side that I was laying on. My eyes opened, and I raised my head from my pillow; to my surprise a male who resembled my father was standing on my bed staring down at me.

This man did not look scary; in fact, he was young like my dad, and dressed just like my dad. My dad always wore cut-off blue jean shorts, and walked around the house with a bare back. The same attire that I described as my dad, was the same for this man.

My immediate thought was to talk to this man. I began asking questions such as, "what is your name?" "Why do you have my dad's clothes on?" The room remained silent, and the man continued to stare down at me. I began to panic! At this point I was not sure whether or not I was about to be raped or murdered.

I saw my dad walking into the living room to turn out the lights, I slowly choked out, " Daddy help me!" My dad ran quickly to my bedroom when suddenly the man who once stood on my bed disappeared, only to reappear behind my dresser.

I was speechless, all I could do was point to my dresser. My dad was not able to see what I could see. Fear consumed me, my teeth started chattering, and my body began to shake all over. My dad began to explain to me that I had experienced a bad dream. He consoled me, and sent me to sleep in the living room on the couch.

My dad walks back into the bedroom, at this point my mom wakes up and questions why my dad keeps getting up in the middle of the night. My dad began to explain that I had a nightmare and that it will be okay. As I was listening in on my parents conversation, the same man appeared standing in the kitchen with a blank stare.

I started to think that I was insane, so I tried to self-talk myself out of being frightened. I told myself to close my eyes and open them. I obeyed myself, but when I opened my eyes the man was still standing in the kitchen staring at me.

I burst into tears and cried hysterically! My father woke up; at this point he was upset that I was interrupting his sleep, since he had to wake up early the next morning to go dove hunting.

My dad lead me into my parents bedroom, to sleep on there floor. I made sure to close my eyes, as I prayed for the safety and protection for my family.

When I awoke the next morning, I began having flashbacks about the events that occurred while I was sleeping peacefully in my bedroom. From that day forward, The ghost was never seen again. To this day, I wonder what happened in that mobile home that could have caused a spirit to be in the presence of a little girl such as myself; who was sleeping peacefully in my bed.
