Encapsulation (in carpet cleaning) is a process by which chemicals are sprayed over the carpet, given a brief amount of time to set ( 1 - 2 minutes) and then brushed. The chemical polymers that are sprayed with the use of the equipment called the carpet encapsulator, crystallizes on drying. The encapsulator has a round base with a brush that works in rotatory or circular motion. When in use, it brushes the carpet getting the dirt loosened from the fibres. The fascinating part is that while it dries, this combined solution absorbs all the stubborn dirt and soil from the fibres of the carpet and crystallizes it. On vacuuming, the combined chemical-dirt crystals are easily cleaned and removed from the carpet.

Encapsulation Carpet Cleaning is mainly done in big commercial areas like the malls, business areas, airports, etc. This is because this method is one of the easiest to conduct with highest efficiency in terms of drying time, cost of detergents, and the amount of required man power to undertake the cleaning. Taking into account the factor - drying time, we should understand that water used in the process does not mix with the dirt and the detergent polymers that crystallizes, giving it a faster and easier chance to evaporate. Your carpet dries quicker than otherwise.

This method of cleaning is growing more and more popular in not just the commercial environment but also in domestic areas. Steam vacuuming, chemical or shampoo treatments, washing with mild soap solutions and the like leave behind a wet area that requires quite a bit of time to dry. Thus the advantage of the encapsulation method over the other forms of carpet cleaning. Moreover, with the encapsulation treatment, you can be absolutely sure that little or no dirt and soil still remains in your carpet especially after regular rounds of vacuuming is done.

Encapsualtion Cleaning is also known as 'Bonnet Cleaning'. Factors like temperature, detergent, absorbant compound and time are taken into account and made use of. Depending on the humidity of the area, after cleaning, a carpet will dry within 20 - 30 minutes. To ensure totally effectient work being done, place a "Wet Floor" sign at passage ways or areas that are traffic prone, and do only select areas at a time. Working with a systematic approach will add a touch of professionalism to your already expert performance.

Although encapsulation or bonneting is done by the Cleaning Agencies and calls for expenditure from your part, it is nonetheless worthwhile to engage their services at home. Your carpet will be healthier, with a longer life, protected from fading, adding neatness and decor to your lifestyle.
