REFLECTIONS
Here I sit
anesthetized by your smile
nursing invisible wounds
hoping

make the pain
subside.
How can you?
Visualize my agony

I look for answers
in your eyes.
And find a frightening
darkness.
Sublime, yet somehow
selfish.
Or perhaps
It's a reflection of
Me.
