A guide to the Disney Website

The main website of the Walt Disney Company is www.Disney.com. On this website you can make travel arrangements for your Disney vacation, find entertainment, shop for Disney merchandise, and find information about the Walt Disney company.

When you arrive at the home page for the Disney website you will be greeted with a video that usually has something to do with the latest Disney Film in theaters, being released on DVD, or TV show that is premiering on the Disney Channel. Along either side of the page are links pertaining to what Disney is currently trying to promote. Along the bottom of the screen there are pictures of Disney characters that you can scroll through. Selecting on one of these characters will bring up videos, games, and music related to that character. Below the characters there is hyperlinked information that will bring you to legal notices, the international Disney websites, and the corporate information website. Along the top of the screen there are several categories that allow you to directly go to the type of content that you are looking for. The categories are Games, Videos, Characters, Movies, TV, Music, Live Events, Parks, and Shop.

This is what you can expect to find under each of the categories:

Games As the name implies this is where you will find games. All the games at Disney.com are family friendly. Many of the games are theme to Disney movies and TV shows, however, there are some that are completely original content. Most of the games on the site are free to play, however, some like Toontown online require you to pay for a membership to enjoy the full game.

Videos - The Videos section contains content that can also be found in many of the other sections. In the videos section you can find classic Disney cartoons, movie previews, full episodes of Disney Channel shows, Music Videos, Interviews, and Movie clips.

Characters The characters section has information about all your favorite Disney characters. You can find videos about your favorite characters. You can also find games featuring the characters here. Another feature of the characters portion of the site is that for many of the characters you can print coloring pages.

Movies - This section has information about Disney movies in theaters and on DVD. The section features film clips, previews, and interviews. It also has links to the official movie websites.

TV The TV section feature information about all the shows on Disney channel. For many of the shows
